clothing, no longer attending clubs, and the like; but in truth, my real world had
worsened.
Client: Right, right.
Keisha Dreams: In reality, no one should put h (her) hands on anyone. However,
when a person abuses you a lot of times, you or people think, that you must have
done something wrong.
Client: Right, right.
Keisha Dreams: Sometimes, the abuser does not say it was you; by habit you just
automatically go there, because you want to make sense of the thing.
Client: Umm.
Keisha Dreams: One starts to think, “This person loves me, I must have said or done
something wrong.” One goes into denial, and does not want to believe the truth. The
truth is that the abuser is a liar and not who he says he is. With this, you are forced to
throw away, what you thought was a God-given-plan, in the trash and start over. You
must tell everyone that you made a mistake and that the person was not from God and
not your soul mate. When kids are involved, you say, “Sorry, son or daughter, he is
